Dr. Barry Leonard graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1983. He served his internships at the Center for the Partially Sighted in Santa Monica, Fort Ord Army Hospital and the V. A. hospitals. While Dr. Leonard is a general Optometrist who manages all types of eye disorders, his special interest are in custom contact lenses and refractive surgery.
Dr. Leonard was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley (near Los Angeles). He practices with his father who originally opened the office in 1957. Dr. Leonard is involved in various community organizations including the Chamber of Commerce and VOSH-California. Outside of his daily practice he finds enjoyment in marathon running and water sports.
