Dr. Shirley Hong is currently working in private practice in Southern California. She graduated from Southern California College of Optometry and completed a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitative/Primary Eye Care at the Veterans Affair Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. She also worked at the VA hospital teaching optometry interns for 4 years before recently moving down to Los Angeles. She hopes to buy into a private practice in the near future so that she can use it to continue her work with VOSH in serving the underprivileged all over the world. Outside of optometry, Dr. Hong is a foodie and loves to bake and enjoys testing out different restaurants with her husband.
